Mission Statement

The Meade County Democrats SD aim to promote the values and vision of the Democratic Party in South Dakota by encouraging civic engagement, backing Democratic candidates, and advocating for policies that strengthen our communities.

In a community where neighbor-to-neighbor connections are essential, we aim to give every resident a voice in the political process, promote meaningful dialogue, and create a more inclusive and responsive government at the local, state, and national levels.



Our History

The Meade County Democrats SD have a long-standing tradition of promoting civic engagement and community participation in western South Dakota. Over the years, our members have organized local meetings, supported candidates at all levels of government, and worked to ensure every voice in our county is heard.

From small grassroots gatherings to community events, our group continues to serve as a hub for residents who share a vision of progress, inclusion, and active participation in our democracy.
